There were two more things I wanted to say, but right now I can only remember one of them.
The currency that is most used in day-to-day transactions in Cambodia is the US dollar - but only the bills. There is an official [fluctuating?] exchange rate, but the street rate is always 4000 riel to the dollar. If something costs $2.50 and you give the person $5, you get $2 and 2000 riel back.
